Our meetings are at 8:00 PM on Mondays. We require members to come in person and attend 8/10 training sessions to ultimately interpret. We will have interpretation events that members can sign up for after they have completed the trainings. This is where we will use the knowledge we learn during meetings. An important piece of medical interpreting is practice, so we will provide Anki flashcards after each meeting with terms that are important in that lesson. The training sessions are only for one semester, so after a member has completed the semester-long training, they no longer are required to attend those sessions.
