We are USC's first student organization conducting public diplomacy, aiming to transcend geographical boundaries and connect ordinary students worldwide. We seek truth and display the lives and diverse cultures of students worldwide. We are committed to empowering a new generation of student diplomats, building a global community filled with understanding and inclusivity.
We currently consist of two parts: the Student Diplomacy Lab and the Online Cultural Exchange Summit. The Online Cultural Exchange Summit is a two-month knowledge carnival. Students will have the opportunity to follow well-known professors and practitioners in the field, exploring topics of personal identity, community impact, educational inequality, gender inequality, and citizen diplomacy. Even more exciting, students will be randomly assigned to four colleges, cooperating with peers from 15 countries. They are not only to complete projects together but also to compete for the final House Cup. This is a unique opportunity to cross national borders and meet like-minded partners..We are honored to have invited leading figures in the field of citizen diplomacy such as Nick Cull, Speaker of the House of Commons Linsdy Hoyle, former Dean of the USC School of Communication Earnest Wilson, and Harvard University philosophy professor Michael Sandel. These outstanding scholars and social leaders have brought countless unique insights and life stories to our students.
Since 2021, the Bridge Cultural Exchange Academy has cooperated with dozens of research centers and educational institutions in China and the US. We have provided cross-cultural exchange opportunities for hundreds of students from 15 countries around the world and influenced the cultural exchange concepts of thousands of students.
In the Student Diplomacy Lab, we led USC students students will delve into Los Angeles's rich immigrant culture and food culture, actively participate in community activities, promote cross-cultural exchanges with actual actions, and shape themselves into true "student diplomats"
