SCMC Mentorship Program

COMING SOON

SCMC is excited to introduce a mentorship program for high school participants of our math competition. This program provides a platform for college students to recruit high school students to help in their projects, ranging from math research, website design, business cases, etc. This will be a year or semester-long program starting from Spring 2024.

Build Network

Networking is important and in some cases crucial for standing out to employers. High school students will get a jump start on creating their professional networks by interacting with the greater academic community.

Conduct College-Level Research

The program aims to create a symbiotic learning environment, where high school students gain practical project experience and improve their college application while college students receive assistance in their projects.

Explore USC

Mentors and mentees have the opportunity to work in person on their projects which may take place on campus at USC. Mentees will get to know the college lifestyle and prepare for their journey.
