The mission of the Clinic is to create a collaborative effort among practicing pharmacists and pharmacy students, to serve the clinical pharmacy needs of the surrounding underserved populations in Los Angeles, and to provide health education to the general public.
By becoming a member of PharmSC Clinic, you have the opportunity to: 1. Enhance your clinical skills and Spanish-speaking skills through hands-on experiences at our free student-run clinic and community health fairs 2. Improve key skills needed to succeed at your future IPPE and APPE rotations by attending our professional development workshops 3. Broaden your clinical knowledge outside the classroom through attending our health education workshops and reading our monthly health blog posts 4. Explore the field of ambulatory care pharmacy through our various networking opportunities with current ambulatory care pharmacists 5. Participate in our P1 Leadership Program where first-year student pharmacists gain direct mentorship from upperclassmen to improve their leadership and professionalism skills
