Onion Skins Animation is USC’s first student-run animation studio and is a recognized student organization of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. Bringing together artists, animators, and creatives from all disciplines, Onion Skins provides a mock-studio environment that creates an animated short film each semester.
- Gain tangible production experience that pushes for portfolio-level deliverables! - Collaborate with peers from diverse talent backgrounds and majors. - Practice your pitching in simulated studio dallies. - Get access to guest speaker events from major studios and USC’s own animation faculty. - Participate in workshops including but not limited to: portfolio workshops, animation intensives, compositing walkthroughs, and blender tutorials. - Enjoy Onion Skins social events and screenings!
