We had a wonderful meeting on Sunday, September 4th. Here are the notes from our meeting and the most important information to keep in mind.

What is the Performing Arts Committee (PAC)?
The Performing Arts Committee is funded by USG and strives to create innovative opportunities for creative students interested in visual and performing arts. We want to fund projects for students who have new ideas and connect them to other creatives at USC with diverse skill sets.

General Body Meetings
  • Everyone is invited to our bi-weekly general body meetings. In these meetings we may have speakers, workshops, and other opportunities, as well as an opportunity to ask questions about funding and other resources. Most of all, this is a wonderful opportunity for students in different facets of visual and performing arts to meet each other.
  • The meetings will be bi-weekly on Sundays at 5:00pm in Taper Hall 102. Reminders will be posted on our Instagram (@usgpac) and emailed through our EngageSC page.

Upcoming PAC Events
Networking Event (September 25, 6:30pm, Associate’s Park)
  • An opportunity to network with students interested in all facets of visual and performing arts while listening to student jazz musicians and eating delicious catered food from Bird’s Nest Cafe!

“54-Below”-Styled Cabaret (Date TBD)
  • This is our first production of our “Dream Initiative.” Artistic Directed by Roy Gantz, this production will be a gala-styled night of music.

Jagged Little Pill - Performance Viewing (Coming Soon!)
  • Enter for a chance to win free tickets! More information will be released soon.

ArtsFest (Coming Spring 2023!)
  • A massive festival celebrating all forms of art and offering workshops with professors (few different locations, workshops, speakers, panels, EDIA event, presentations, performers, and more!).

Dream Initiative Program!
  • Have an idea for a project? We would love to offer you the chance to be an artistic director of your dream project and we will support you with funding and all logistical elements.

We are so excited to say that there is plenty of funding available for RSOs and independent students.
