This program introduces first-year Honors students to the fundamentals of securing internships and building early career momentum. USC Career Services will facilitate a workshop that demystifies the internship search process and highlights how students can begin preparing as early as their first year. Students will explore how internships allow them to apply academic strengths and coursework to real-world settings, gain exposure to specific industries and organizations, build professional networks and mentorships, and access potential pathways to future internships and full-time roles after graduation. The session emphasizes practical next steps, including exploring internship options, making intentional connections within fields of interest, and understanding how and when to apply for internships.
