The Mission of Tikkun Olam Makers: University of Southern California is to promote community engagement and impactful innovation by connecting volunteer Makers with Need-Knowers (people with disabilities, their caregivers, or their loved ones) to develop personalized technologies that address needs.
Members have the benefits of gaining design, prototyping, and manufacturing experience by personally addressing real-world needs. Through this members stand to gain leadership and team-building skills, and most importantly, the ability to give back to the community.
