We hope that PressFriends will be as supportive of our members as our members are of the Title I elementary students whom they mentor. We encourage you to use PressFriends as a platform to explore your own interests. For example, if you were interested in becoming a lawyer, our students recently interviewed one fo the California Supreme Court Justices. They have also interviewed authors, scientists, playwrights, doctors, actors, and many other professions. What interests you, will also be a great learning experience for the elementary school kids! Club members also get together to edit the kids' articles and periodically just to reconnect. We also have leadership opportunities, and for the past five years, PressFriends student leadership who have volunteered with PressFriends throughout their time at USC have received graduation honors for their service.
