The purpose of this RSO is to raise money and awareness for underprivileged students in Bali, Indonesia. We aim to fundraise and donate 100 percent of our funds to a group of small schools in Bali where students will receive a free education in English, life skills, as well as computer skills. We will raise money to support this program as well as provide new classrooms and needed materials such as computers, desks, or school supplies. This program also hopes to travel to Bali annually to bring supplies and volunteer teaching English in the schools.

Food is a key way of understanding a culture and an even better way to create meaningful relationships. We want to quite literally 'break bread' with our peers and engage with our student body through a shared enthusiasm and curiosity of our respective cuisine and cultures. Trying different or new foods can be a whole adventure, it can be daunting yet very exciting. We want to encourage people to open their minds to trying new things because after all you never know what you'll really like until you try it. As a fan of all cuisine myself, I want to put many foods that people aren't aware of on the map and provide an open and engaging atmosphere to understand different cuisines and cultures. In addition, we especially want to create a socially stimulating environment. We want people to build relationships, after all there's also nothing better than good food with good company. Many people love food, we can't live without it and since coming back from the pandemic I believe many people are looking for community and social interaction as well. This is my second semester on campus and I would have loved to have a club like this starting school. It can be an intimidating and lonely experience when you transfer in just by yourself without knowing anybody. There are many others who feel the same way and I want to create an environment where people can come alone and leave having made a friend. Our main initiative is to spark conversation, in a world that nowadays is so divided and defined by labels, we wanted to create an open atmosphere where people can transcend cultural barriers and truly get to know one another. 1. Justice: Members of the USC-Keck Human Rights Clinic advocate on behalf of asylum seekers by providing pro bono forensic medical and psychological evaluations to corroborate claims of maltreatment.
2. Education: Medical students are given the opportunity to assist with forensic evaluations and report drafting, allowing students to gain experience as advocates for health and human rights. Medical students also learn about global issues and cultural competence through assisting with these examinations.

The mission of the student organization Love & Time is to support the nonprofit’s dedication to providing mental health therapy, support, and resources in a timely manner to individuals who are essential to our society’s well-being, including but not limited to maternal mental health, law enforcement and disenfranchised children and their families.Therapy can be very expensive for those without health insurance and it can take months for insurance companies to provide help. Access to a professional between a 72-96-hour period for members in our community experiencing mental challenges is essential to providing them with the tools to treat themselves and others with compassion.
It is scientifically proven that newborns who are stimulated through their parents’ touch, voice, heartbeat, and attention are significantly more likely to thrive as adults compared to children who lack these stimuli. These connections and associations at birth have long-lasting effects that carry on through our adult lives and impact how we self-regulate through stressful experiences, how humans love and connect with others, and build self-esteem. Targeting mental health support for postpartum mothers and families is our ticket to having a positive impact on child development and improving home environments.

Founded in 2016, Mobile Clinic at USC is a student-run initiative that aims to bring preventative care and wellness resources to unhoused and underserved communities in the greater Los Angeles area. Originally our organization worked closely with the Student Run Clinic at the USC Keck School of Medicine where our members shadowed physicians and acted as liaisons to patients attending the bi-weekly primary care clinics. Our Clinic and Connections Program is focused on providing opportunities for our patients to learn and engage in practices that nurture all aspects of health. At our preventive screening events, we center each visit around understanding the patient’s health history, providing important diagnostic values, and opening conversations for next steps. Alongside the clinical portion to discover more about each patient's physical health, we offer workshops and community-centered activities to supplement the screenings with topics ranging from diet, mental health, and a favorite among members and patients, game nights.

Welcome! At The Bridge Academy, our core mission is to disrupt the cultural stereotypes around the world and offer the community a chance to view each other as fellow human beings instead of through the lens of any ideology. We want to help our club and community members to grow into global leaders by improving their organizational and leadership skills and by attaining self awareness and cultural awareness by participating in a series of club meetings, seminars, conferences, and lectures. We have already organized two cultural exchange seminars involving 200 students from 15 different countries, and we have dozens of representatives and branches from different high schools and colleges in America and China. The USC chapter will be the headquarters of The Bridge Academy.
As USC is the HQ of the Bridge Academy, the Bridgers of the Trojan Chapter will receive the most resources from the club. The growth and well being of our members are our priorities. During our routine meetings, we will offer Bridgers examples of cultural inclusion by sharing experiences and engaging in team building activities with members from different cultures. (And, of course, snacks and dessert will be served!) Also, we will invite well-known speakers in the area of personal growth and various professional fields to talk with our members exclusively, so that their expertise can enlighten our members and foster self-awareness, self, a healthy career path, and goals.
Secondly, the USC chapter will also be able to help Bridgers improve their professional skills. Members will have the chance to undertake tasks, such as public relations, communication, graphic design, event organizing, and consulting, to enhance their experiences by serving on different Committees of the Chapter
Besides these social impacts and professional missions, The Bridge Academy at USC prioritizes the social engagement of our members. We view our group as a family and will frequently plan dinners, day trips, retreats, and a myriad of other social events!
Ultimately, for being one of the pioneering chapters pursuing a new but worthy goal, it is inevitable that the USC chapter may face many uncertainties and challenges. However, with greater uncertainty, comes greater opportunities and awards. Together, we can change the status quo and offer students a true sense of culture inclusion around campuses worldwide and create cultural stereotype-free zones for all communities

This is the USC Chapter of the The Pad Project Ambassador Program, which is designed to unite a community of passionate individuals who are ready to break the stigma surrounding menstruation and turn their passion for equity into action. The Ambassador Program fosters a way for new and life-long menstrual equity advocates to come together to learn about period poverty, develop leadership skills, and form new friendships. Over the last year, ambassadors have run educational panels with our NGO partners, conducted product drives for local shelters, advocated for period-positive policies before state legislatures, hosted documentary film screenings in their communities, and created works of art to honor the menstrual equity movement.

Trojan Health Interpretation Services' primary mission is to fulfill a demand for interpreters for the Limited English Proficient population in order to guarantee medical services for all. We will provide free health interpretation and translation services for people in and around the USC area. Another primary mission is to train bilingual students to become ad hoc interpreters through extensive medical vocabulary training and practice situations. We seek to provide our services to grassroots organizations that are working with limited resources; usually, these organizations provide free services and don├óÔé¼Ôäót have the funds or the organizational structure to have a full-time interpreter. Ultimately, Trojan Health Interpretation Services actively works to provide free ad hoc interpretation services to the vast Limited English Proficient population in Los Angeles.
