URBAN TXT’s Hustle N’ Code Hackathon is an annual event where students ages 10-17 from public housing use technology to tackle community issues. In 2015, we first brought the hackathon to the Nickerson Gardens in Watts, a community with limited internet and few computers. We provided Wi-Fi, computers, and tech professionals with support from companies like Google. Today, the event serves 120 families across South Central Los Angeles each year.

Lunch and transportation will be provided!
