Mission
The mission of the Jam SCssion is to create a vibrant and inclusive community where USC students can come together to share their love for music and music video production. We aim to foster an environment where the joy of making music and music videos takes precedence over the pursuit of popularity. Our club encourages members to collaborate, experiment, and create music and music videos in a supportive and low-pressure setting. We believe that the best way to make friends is by playing music together, and we invite all students who have a passion for music and music video production, regardless of their skill level, to join us in making lasting memories and connections through the universal language of music.

Membership Benefits
Collaborative Band Experience and Music Video Production: As the one and only club that emphasizes both band experience and music video production, members enjoy the freedom to collaborate, experiment, and produce music videos in a low-pressure setting, with opportunities to form groups of any size.

Inclusive Community: Members get to be part of a welcoming and supportive environment where all students, regardless of skill level, can share their love for music and the music video production process. This is an open community for all student musicians and music video producers at USC.

Instrument Rental for Low-Income Members: To ensure that all students can participate in music production, Jam SCssion offers free rental instruments for members who may have difficulty purchasing their own. Currently, the club has two electric guitars and two electric basses available for rent, with plans to expand our collection in the future via fundraisers. This initiative aims to make music accessible to everyone, regardless of financial constraints, and to encourage all students to explore their musical passions.
