Mission
The ethos behind starting the Field Robotics Lab (FRL) is to allow for an organization that serves
undergraduate students who have a keen interest on a career in mobile robotics for applications in
space, scientific research, agricultural, humanitarian aid, or defense. Our aim is to lead university-level technical projects that equip USC undergraduates with
practical engineering skills, beyond-classroom knowledge, and inspiration that they carry into their careers to improve our society.

Membership Benefits
Members will join a sub-team assembly and contribute to the design and fabrication of the current
project. Members will be able to learn and apply various engineering, manufacturing, and project
management skills and work on an inter-disciplinary design team, an academic experience highly
coveted in industry that directly leads to acquisition of internships and jobs.
