The NVSC is the largest entrepreneurship competition on USC campus, offering a prize pool of over $150K along with a six-week series of deep dive, focused training sessions through which advanced competitors develop their business models and businesses.

Learn all you need to know about how to participate - from the application process, to pitching, mentorship & competing!

The competition is open to any member of the USC community with a great business idea – students, recent graduates (within the past five years), faculty, or staff.

Platinum Prize (1st Place): $35,000
Gold Prize (2nd Place): $20,000
Silver Prizes (3rd Place): $15,000
Silver Prizes (3rd Place): $15,000
Bronze Prize (4th Place): $10,000
John Nehorai Award (4th Place): $10,000
Helena of Troy Award: $10,000
Social Impact Prize: $5,000
Early Stage Concept Prize (1st place): $7,500
Early Stage Concept Prize (2nd place): $5,000
Early Stage Concept Prize (3rd place): $2,500
2025 NVSC People’s Choice Award: $1,000

Semi-Final Prizes
Lowenstein Prize of $1,500 (for each semi-finalist)
