Mission
Mission: Our mission is to create a committee of OT community members (students, faculty, alumni, and clinicians) with two main focus areas. First, to help improve the educational experience of OT students with a Latin American/Hispanic heritage background. Additionally, the committee will aim to be a resource for OT community members in providing care to the Spanish-speaking/ Latin American community. The committee will accomplish this by facilitating partnerships with other organizations who serve the hispanohablante community and organizing events to help improve the competency of OT’s serving hispanohablante populations, thus improving patient care. The committee also aims to establish stronger community bonds with OT programs, students and professors within Latin America.

Membership Benefits
Membership benefits: Membership benefits include access to Latinx student support through student toolkits and alumni panels, international partnerships with occupational therapy schools in Spanish-speaking countries, local partnerships with wellness centers, and access to social mixers that provide opportunities to develop professional networks with other USC students.
