The Animal Health Society’s mission is to create a community within pre-vet students and animal lovers that cultivates various skills (handling, medical, behavioral, animal welfare) and knowledge through various workshops, community outreach, direct work with rescues and shelters, and hands-on involvement with animals.
Members will learn more about animals, animal health and wellness, conservation, and the importance of animal welfare. Additionally, this organization will serve as a community for all animal lovers and those with an interest in animal conservation and health through community service opportunities. Pre-vet students are encouraged to join, as members will learn about the veterinary profession, application process, and career paths.
